Welcome To My Home Page

Welcome to my new web page. My name is Mrs. Lombardo and I teach First Grade now. I have been teaching for many years and can honestly say, I can't imagine doing anything else. I love all my students, past, present and future, and have learned many things from them. I hope that everyone enjoys learning as much as I do. It is such a wonderful feeling to find out something new! Last year was super exciting with a visit from the people at SANCOB and their penguins. My students and their families also gave me an encounter with the beluga at Mystic. I will be going this summer and will share my experience along with pictures soon. I can't wait to see what will be happening this year. Each and every year is so special, I am always amazed!

Our Specials Schedule

The schedule for our specials begins when we return in September and is as follows-       

MONDAY - Library  10:33

TUESDAY - Gym 1:27

 WEDNESDAY - Music 10:33

THURSDAY -  Art 10:33

FRIDAY - Spanish 10:15

Students may bring a small snack for mid morning. A piece of fruit, small crackers, or cookies should suffice and not spoil lunch. Lunch wave is scheduled for 12:25 with recess just before at 12:00. 

We will be going out for recess as often as possible. Please make sure that your child is dressed appropriately for the weather. Clean cold air will not make the children ill, being confined to a warm classroom helps germs grow.

Hope you have been reading many books this summer. There are so many different kinds of books, there must be at least one kind for everyone to enjoy.

We will be reading about many things this year and hope to find lots of interesting information about all kinds of things.
